Hello all, first off I want to say I'm new to using servicenow scripting so if I butcher terminology or get things wrong I apologize.
Now with that out of the way, I have 2 current questions, I am attempting to create a Service Portal Widget that on load pulls a parameter from the url. That part I've managed to figure out, the part I'm struggle to figure out is how do I send it from the Client Script to the Server Script?
Then once I get that parameter to the Server Script, how could I go about starting a workflow using that parameter as an input?
Any help or resources is greatly appreciated! You should find attached a screen shot of my code.
