Tree Picker in Assignment Groups Issue

Hi All,

The assignment groups on Incident table has tree_picker attribute to true and when clicked on magnifying glass, all the groups are shown in tree picker. When the + icon is clicked on group, users are displayed. When selecting a user, the assigned to is not updated. Is this the expected behavior? Can we customize to update assigned to when user is selected in assignment group tree picker?

Are you selecting users in the assignment group field ? If yes then first select group and then select assign to .

Select both items separatly.

The expectation here is that it sets both - the assignment group and the assigned to at the same time.

Both are shown and as it's possible to click on the user the expectation is that both will be filled at once

Sadly yes, this is expected behavior, the tree picker helps you to visualize which users that are part of the group selected, but does not set the assigned to based on user selected. The form only sets the assignment group (in this scenario).

As far as I know, there is no way to customize/configure this to have it set both fields.

But you have options to filter available users, to only show those of the selected assignment group, which can help narrow the results.
