Hi ServiceNow Community, I'm having trouble deploying a UI component to my vendor instance and need some help. THE PROBLEM:
- OAuth gives me: "Current profile vendor-basic uses method oauth which is not supported"
- OAuth-MFA gives me: "Current profile vendor-basic uses method oauth-mfa which is not supported"
- I disabled MFA in Multi-factor Criteria settings
- Now Basic Auth gives me: "Error connecting to instance https://venXXXXX.service-now.com, invalid username or password"
WHAT I TRIED:
- Configured OAuth with proper client credentials - failed
- Configured OAuth-MFA - failed
- Disabled MFA in instance settings
- Switched to Basic Auth with admin credentials - still fails
QUESTIONS:
- Are there special requirements for OAuth with UI component deployment?
- Could there be vendor instance settings blocking basic auth?
- Should I use different profile config for vendor vs dev instances?Any known vendor instance limitations for UI components?
CONTEXT:
- Same auth works fine on my dev instance
- Using ServiceNow CLI for deployment
- Admin role with correct credentials
- React-based UI component with iframe integration
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
