What would happen if the Follow Button is disabled?

Hi Everyone,

I wanted help with a requirement to disable follow button on every table.

Found a KB article where it explains it's resolution how to disable it here is the link for it "https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0728542".

My question is when we disable live_feed = false the follow button does not show up that particular table but if there are any child table associated with that table is that table also going to be affected?
Are there any Business Rule, Script Include, Schedule Jobs running behind? I am not able to find  any. I am missing something here.
Need help with it.

Hello @Harsh3842

The live feed functionality will not be available for the users and apart from this there will be no impact. Here is the list of components installed with Live Feed to learn more: https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-servicenow-platform/page/use/live-feed/reference/r_I...

KB Article to show or hide Follow UI action: https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0692505

Hope that helps!
