Hello friends-

I have enabled Dynamic Translation in Yokohama Version.

Using the default translator service of ServiceNow. I have added the language code mapping to one different table as well. Still I am getting this error. Screenshot attached.

Unable to translate. Try again

Hi @Kamini07

Neither ServiceNow nor the Microsoft translation provider works in a PDI, so we can't test or use it there. I had the same experience yesterday—it wasn’t working in my PDI either

Hi @Kamini07 This is what I was able to find. Can you check if this works. I have provided the link below:

Hi @Kamini07 ,

ServiceNow only has language detecting capabilities, it doesn't have translation capability.

ServiceNow does not provide its own built-in translation engine. Instead, it relies on external translation services to power Dynamic Translation. If you're seeing errors like "Unable to translate. Try again", it's likely because:

To make Dynamic Translation work, you must integrate with one of the supported external services: Supported Translator Services in ServiceNow:

  • Microsoft Azure Translator
  • IBM Watson
  • Google Cloud

Configure the Translator in ServiceNow:

  • Navigate to System Translation > Dynamic Translation Configuration , open a service and activate them
  • Also make sure you setup proper credentials based on the service you choose

Mark this as helpful and correct if this helps you.

Thanks,

Yaswanth
