Language Adjustment according to User Prompt

Dear All,

We are currently struggling to find a feature that adjusts AI search results (KB articles and catalog items) and the Virtual Agents language in general to the language of the user's input, not the portal language.

For example, the portal language is English, but the user's prompt is in German. What it should do is automatically change the language of the bot's response and only display AI search results in German.

Maybe there is an automatic translation feature or smth. like that?!

 

Any ideas are welcomed.

@etan AI Search will take the use session language (portal language) as the primary language when searching, however admins have the ability to configure different languages that are able to appear in results. See at the bottom of this documentation for the set of those available configs. For example, you can make German a fallback language to English, which in your case would use the German query and search across English & German documents, and presumably find the best match with German content. The other configs allow additional flexibility beyond that.

Thank you for your fast response @adambuj,
but your solution did not quite match our problem.

Currently our Search results are displayed in all languages and I can not see any relation to the session s language.
Do you happen to know where this config is set? 
Because as I understood your answer, the fallback language just works for AI Search results in one language.


The same issue appears for Topic Flows (no AI Search). Is there some kind of language detection feature?
