I'm following KB0830796 to restrict Virtual agent icon for our pilot. Even as security admin, I am unable to update the roles. When I go to the widget, the Roles field appears and disappears. Is there another way to edit the security settings?

We did open a case on this issue, and ServiceNow came back to recommend updating the roles in the Service Portal Web Client Configuration found in the guided setup:
I was able to add the roles here on the portal that I created for our Virtual agent:

For Employee Center portal I tested that roles need to be added to the 'EC Polaris' record
