VA Setup Topics - newly created setup topic will not display in picker on Custom Greeting & Setup

Hi,

 

In my new Vancouver PDI,  I created a new setup topic which does not display in the Custom Greetings and Setup picker.  Also other topics I created do not show under the Promoted Topics picker either.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Setup Topics are not available in the common topics button or in the Promoted Topics.  Promoted Topics looks for "Topic" type.

Hi Lynda, thank you for responding. The issue is that any new Setup Topics I create are not available in the Custom Greetings and Setup area.  Only OOB setup topics are displaying there.

I think you also posted this on Slack? I did try to reproduce on Washington Patch 0 and on Vancouver Patch 4, no issues. So something must be different in your instance setup or in the steps you are following perhaps?

 

You could try to raise a ServiceNow Support case, though like I mentioned it should be able to work fine as I reproduced.

Hi Mark,

 

Yes, I did post this on slack.  Since the original post was here I thought I would give it a try in case someone had a workaround.

 

The only PDI version is Vancouver Patch 2, Hot fix 1.  I tried to put in a case but the only options were for our live instances. I was hoping to get ahead of the game and get some work done in my PDI since we are in the middle of upgrading to Vancouver.  I'll have to wait until that is done to do any kind of development.
