Hello All,
We have a requirement to grant additional mailbox permission to reporting manager using Integration Hub spokes, graph API without MID server.
This is required for Employee termination as manager need to check terminated user's mail history.
Is there any way to achieve this ?

Hi @Pooja Magadum ,
Technically it can be done. I don't think there is support for it in the spokes so you have to do it with REST API calls for the Microsoft Graph API.
But from a legal perspective I would be very careful. There is no absolute right for an employeer to access a mailbox of an employee. This is a topic that has been discussed for years. I'm no legal expert so look it up. There could be different rules in different countries but with the Data Privacy laws these days there are definitetly reasons to ensure the legitimicy of such actions.
Regards,
Niklas

Hi, I did not find such action (granting permission to read email in another user's mailbox) in the product documentation. Consider to register it on Idea portal.
Agree, usually such actions are rather manual and require a range of approval before authorized team can change mail properties of affected user in Office 365 admin center.
