ServiceNow Test Management 2.0

Hi, I have some questions about the features of ServiceNow Test Management 2.0:

1. Is it possible to define the System Under Test?

2. Is it possible to import structures from people that also use the tool? For example that the custom made fields are exported and imported as a template to another user.

3. Can test cases be linked to requirements?

4. Can attachments be added to the defects found during test execution?

5. Can the different type of test cases be distinguished?

6. Is it possible to create test scenarios?

7. Is it possible to notify the developer via email of a found defect?

8. Is it possible to create a regression test that can be used in multiple test cycles?

9. Is it possible to import and export test cases from an Excel file?

10. Is it possible to be part of multiple management enviroments for one user?

11. Can test cases be made without requirements and vice versa?

12. Can defects be coupled to a developer?

Hopefully these questions are clear. I look forward to an answer. 🙂

Kind regards,

Shawn

Hi @Shawn-Douglas

basically I would answer all questions with "yes" but for most of them you have to implement anything to extend the OOTB functionalities which - in my opinion - are not so elaborated like for example XRay as plugin for Jira

Thanks a lot, Maik!

Hi @Maik Skoddow

I know that this is not the right category of the forum to ask this in, but how expensive is a license for Test Management 2.0 monthly?

Hi @Shawn-Douglas

You cannot get Test Management individually. It's part of the SPM product, and therefore you have to check with your ServiceNow sales rep what it would cost. I cannot answer that question.
