Tagging in Knowledge Articles

We are looking to avoid creating multiple knowledge bases in the organization and thought there was a way to utilize tagging in KB articles for enhanced search functionality.  Is there a best practice to put this in place?

Hi @RachaelN

1. You can add relevant keywords, synonyms, or common search phrases  in the Meta field of the article

Refer: Meta Tags on Knowledge Base Articles

Using meta tags in Knowledge Base articles to improve SEO and reduce incidents

2. Use User Criteria to sees which articles using User Criteria at both the Knowledge Base and article levels.

3. Create a common category structure to logically separate content.

4. Utilize the Ownership Group field to designate which team is responsible for reviewing/updating the article, separating accountability without separating the articles.
