With our continued dedication towards driving innovation for Intelligent Automation, we’re excited to unveil new features and enhancements for Automation Engine as part of the Q4 2024 release. In this released, we've enhanced our core capabilities around Integration Hub specifically, and are excited to share those details below:
1. API Management through Boomi
ServiceNow partnered with Boomi to bring you API management, at no additional cost. Boomi's API management allows you to protect and manage both ServiceNow and non-ServiceNow spokes/APIs in a centralized manner, giving you centralized governance over all your APIs. Boomi APIM can be easily accessed from the ServiceNow store.
2. Now Assist for Spoke Generation
While we continually simplify the processes of setting up new spokes, this GenAI capability takes simplification to a new level. With this capability, you can create custom spokes for third party systems in Spoke Generator without needing OpenAPI/postman specs. All you need to do is copy and paste API documentation into the entry field, then let Now Assist do the rest. You can also edit existing spokes using the same process.
