Capture mandatory rejection reason when approving reservable spaces

Hi!

 

I know my way round WSD fairly well but I'm not too sure of the best way to achieve this or if there is something out of the box I can use.

 

When a user reserves a space which requires approval, the approver(s) are then notified and any of them can go into their approvals section of the portal and approve or reject the booking.  

 

If they click reject, I would like a pop-up to appear, making it mandatory for the approver to enter a reason for rejection before confirming the request has been rejected.  The reason would need to be included in the email message notifying the requestor of the decision.  I can see this is defined in Rejected Reservation PL notification record but I'm not sure the best way to pass this rejection reason to (I assume) the Workplace Reservations table and then include it in the notification.
