Everything was working fine with Workplace Reservation then on 1/10 I started getting  'Cross Scope Access privilege errors'. Ex ErrorExecute operation on script include 'WPBlockLocationUtils' from scope 'Workplace Reservation Management' was denied. The application 'Workplace Reservation Management' must declare a cross scope access privilege. Please contact the application admin to update their access requests.

I had recently upgraded from Patch 1 to Patch 4. I had just set the Area on all the spaces and was setting spaces as 'Is reservable'. I also had accidently updated WSD Search (a default value for start time from 9:00 to 8:00 and saved. Not sure if any of this would cause the cross scope access errors.

I also went to the Restricted Caller Access privileges and there is already a record for WPBlockLocationUtils and it is Allowed.

Please help! I'm in development and have to get this resolved ASAP.

@clyon Even if the dates do not match up, these RCA records that are not allowed will block the API call/Query. Even if these do not apply to the specific action to which you are having issues, they will be blocking other calls so you will have an impact.

@clyon You may want to check the Application Restricted Caller Access records and see if any are not at the status of "Allowed". At first glance, it appears that this may be the issue. If you are unfamiliar with the Application Restricted Caller Access (RCA) functionality, you can find more information here on the community.

Mike

I have reviewed that list. This is what is not allowed currently.

None were created on 1/10 when the issue started or referenced items in the error messages so I didn't feel comfortable changing the status. Thoughts?

Thank you! THank you!

Once I 'Allowed' this access, the issues/error are resolved.

I'm thankful the issue is resolved, but I don't understand what happened Monday that caused it to stop working all the sudden.

But Thank you very much! I appreciate your assistance!
