- Does ServiceNow support series appointments? If yes, does it handle the series as a series or does it break them into single meetings? If we want to enable series meetings then this is also a must-have.
- Does it intelligently resolve conflicts when booking a series, e.g. if a room is available nine times out of ten, does ServiceNow automatically suggest alternative rooms for that one booking? If we want to allow series meetings, then this is a must-have.
- Can I change a series if slots are in the past?

Series meetings
- Does ServiceNow support series appointments? If yes, does it handle the series as a series or does it break them into single meetings? If we want to enable series meetings then this is also a must-have. ServiceNow WSD supports series (that is: recurring) appointments, handling them as single reservations, that are related to the so called parent (=series). Employees can cancel the series, or cancel and update single occurrences in a series. Recurring reservations created in Exchange, will be synchronized as is to ServiceNow.
- Does it intelligently resolve conflicts when booking a series, e.g. if a room is available nine times out of ten, does ServiceNow automatically suggest alternative rooms for that one booking? This could not be answered. If we want to allow series meetings, then this is a must-have. This capability is in roadmap
- Can I change a series if slots are in the past? ServiceNow WSD ootb features don’t allow you to change past reservations. You can update upcoming reservations in the series or cancel the complete series if needed. Any passed (completed) reservation will not be updated.

Stefano
