View custom software product suggestions in workspace

View the product suggestions that enable you to consolidate your custom software products with corresponding software products in the Software Asset Management Content Library. By consolidating these software products, you can update all references to your custom software products with references to the software products in the Content Library. You can choose to accept or reject these suggestions.

Role required:

• sam_admin: Accept or reject product suggestions.
• sam_user: View product suggestions.

Pourquoi et quand exécuter cette tâche

You can add custom software products for any publicly available software products that don’t exist in the Software Asset Management Content Library. For more information on custom software products, see Add custom software products in workspace.

Procédure

1. Navigate to Workspaces > Software Asset Workspace.
2. From the Software Asset Workspace, open the License operations view.
3. From the navigation menu of the License operations view, navigate to Content > Custom software product suggestions.
4. View the list of all product suggestions for your custom software products.
   Select a product suggestion record to view more details about the suggestion. You can also choose to accept or reject the suggestion.

   • If you accept the suggestion, all references to the custom software product are updated with references to the corresponding software product in the Software Asset Management Content Library.
   • If you reject the suggestion, all references to the custom software product remain the same.
