Create a Drop off task for enterprise assets using the Mobile Agent application

    • Create a Drop off task using the Mobile Agent to return the enterprise assets in your personal stockroom to any other warehouse stockroom.

    Procédure

    1. From your mobile device, launch the Mobile Agent application.
    2. On the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, tap the My Tasks tab.
      The home screen of the My Tasks application opens displaying the following sections:
      • My group task
      • My Tasks with the list of tasks assigned to you.
    3. In the My group task section, tap the Create Drop Off Task (create drop off task) icon.
    4. On the Get Drop-Off Task Details screen, fill in the schedule details to create the drop off task.
      1. In the Delivery by date field, select the date by when you want to deliver the assets to the destination stockroom.
      2. In the Destination stockroom field, select the stockroom at which you want to drop off the assets.
      3. Tap Submit.
      The drop off task is created in the Open state and listed under My Tasks.
    5. From the My Tasks list, tap the drop off task to add the assets.
      You can only add enterprise assets that are in your personal stockroom and that aren't reserved and aren't part of any workflows.

      1. Tap Add assets.
      2. Provide the asset tag information.
        • To provide the information through a scan, tap Scan and then scan the asset tag of the asset.
        • To provide the information manually, enter a value in the Asset tag field and tap the Enter key on the keyboard of your mobile device.
      3. Tap Submit.

      1. Tap the Assets tab.
      2. Provide the asset tag information.
        • To provide the information through a scan, tap Scan and then scan the asset tag of the asset.
        • To provide the information manually, enter a value in the Asset tag field and tap the Enter key on the keyboard of your mobile device.
      3. Tap Submit.
      • The asset that you added is listed under the Assets tab of the drop off task.
      • The Start Work option appears for the drop off task.
    6. After adding the required assets to the drop off task, tap Start Work.
      On the Details tab, the Start work link changes to Start timer, Record time, and Drop off automatically.
    7. Drop off the assets at the required stockroom.
    8. Tap Drop off.

    Résultats

    • A Receive task is created and assigned to the asset manager of the stockroom where you dropped off the assets.
    • The state of the Drop off task changes to Work in Progress.
