Using dispatch map

You can use dispatch map to view agent and work order task related information, optimize route, assign tasks, and view agent location history.

Important:

This application is being prepared for future deprecation. It will be hidden and no longer available for activation but will continue to be supported. Starting with the Vancouver release, much of the Dispatch map functionality can be found in Dispatcher Workspace. For details, see the Deprecation Process [KB0867184] article in the Knowledge Base.

• Agent location
  The agent location is determined by the geographic coordinates returned from the agent's mobile device.
• Agent work and schedule status
  View an agent's work status and schedule status as they complete their tasks.
• Route optimization
  Optimizing task routes reorders agent tasks for the day as efficiently as possible using either geolocation or straight-line estimation.
• Assign a single task
  In some cases, you might need to dispatch an urgent task or reassign one to an alternate agent if the assigned agent is delayed or otherwise unable to perform the task.
