DPM’s plan-build-run phases provide a comprehensive view and management tools that are configurable to fit your organization's workflows:
- Plan: Manage solutions by planning within the context of services, applications, or products. Prioritize work by viewing roadmaps, backlogs, ideas, demands, projects, and improvement initiatives.
- Build: Track delivery progress including epics and stories in sprints. Monitor project status, percent complete, overdue items, key milestones, and critical issues.
- Run: Monitor operational performance with Performance Analytics indicators, including availability, incidents, customer satisfaction, and subscriber metrics. Receive alerts on ongoing impacts and view business application deployments alongside hardware/software risk assessments.
Integration with DevOps and Performance Analytics
DPM integrates with DevOps to display flow and accelerate metrics, helping to manage scrum and waterfall development processes and providing visibility into software development life cycles. Admins must enable the DevOps system property to access these metrics.
Performance Analytics indicators offer historical data and performance snapshots, helping gauge solution performance against commitments.
Configuration and Customization
All records within DPM are fully configurable to align with your organizational needs. Administrators can control configurations through the Digital Portfolio Management experience settings and UI Builder.
