Hello Team,

I am working for dynamic translation and language detection for VA chat bot, I have done these changes but somehow when I am trying to validate the language detection functionality then not getting that popup do you want to continue with English or any other language.

1- Installed the Glide virtual and Dynamic translation plugin

2- Enabled the conversation interface setting for virtual agent for multi support and language detection

3- For 3 languages enabled the language detection

Please let me know what i am missing here , I would really appreciate for any support.

Thanks,

Manish

Hello   ,

Thanks for your response, is language detection and translation dependent on detect and translate language sub flow as having issue on sub flow.

For dynamic translation we are using the Microsoft azure translator, and it has OOB sub flow detect and translate language is this flow supposed to work for language detection and translation.

Thanks ,

Manish

Yes, language detection and translation in ServiceNow are directly dependent on the configured subflows.

As per KB: Refer: KB2317552 ServiceNow Translator has no translate Subflow configured

ServiceNow translator is only for language detection, not for translation. Of the translator configurations (sn_dt_translator_configuration) - like IBM and Microsoft -- these are the only ones compatible with the Machine Translator. They have an associated "Choose a translate subflow" : "Translate text".

They are by default set to inactive and have to be set to active to be used in settings (sn_lf_settings)
