Integrating LogicMonitor Alerts with ServiceNow Event Management to Return INC#

Hello,

 

I'm currently working on integrating LogicMonitor (LM) with ServiceNow (SN) Event Management. I received feedback indicating that there's no out-of-the-box (OOTB) way to return an associated INC# to a LM alert when integrating with SN Event Management. The feedback also mentioned that SN Event Management is fundamentally different from basic incident integration, where many LM alerts may be correlated into a single SN incident, including updates as new alerts are generated.

 

Given this, I'm exploring potential customization options to achieve the use case of leveraging SN Incident numbers in LogicMonitor. Has anyone successfully customized LM/SN integration to return INC# to LM alerts? If so, could you share your approach or any guidance on how to achieve this?

 

Additionally, any insights on using ServiceNow's REST API or other methods to facilitate this integration would be greatly appreciated.
