App Engine licensing vs per-user licensing for custom applications

We are planning to build a custom application (custom tables, custom workflows) and understand that we need an App Engine v2 subscription for creating and using custom tables in production.

However, I am confused about per-user licensing:

  • Does the App Engine v2 subscription include any user licenses?

  • Are there separate user licenses specifically for custom applications?

  • Or do users still need the same licenses like ITIL (Fulfiller) / Approver / Requester to create, update, or approve records in custom tables?

In short: How does App Engine licensing relate to per-user licensing for custom applications?

Any clarification or official guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,

License queries are best directed to your account executive. App Engine V2 is a legacy subscription. Modern app-engine SKUs have different consumption models, either a fulfiller model, or app-user model.
