Deletion of data using business rule

In order to practice business rules, i have created a business rule(before) where assigned to will be given to the current user if state changes to In Progress eg. System Administrator. The business rule was succesfully executed and now i want to write a code where assigned to will be deleted if the state changes to onHold.

Can anyone help me with advice on how to achieve this
