I wanted to understand how the Global search is working on the esc

Hi Everyone,

1) I want to under how/where the Global search for employee center is defined.
2) How/where, it is segregating  difference between the catalog & knowledge base.

@Community Alums 

1. navigate to sp_portal table list
2. Open your current portal record
3. Scroll down to related list to find Knowledge bases and Catalogs .
4. Also Check the 'Search Application' and 'Search Results Configuration' fields on the portal record
