PDI is facing from hibernating

Hello,

 

I have been trying to access my PDI for the past week, but each time I try I receive a message stating that the environment was unable to be woken up. 

 

Are there any other steps available to restore access to my PDI?

 

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @swethapolis 

ServiceNow does a great job with PDIs however there are still some improvement areas including the one you are facing. I would encourage you to release this instance and have new one.

Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

Hi @swethapolis 

 

As you might know, there is no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDI, hence you're limited to two options:

  1. Wait, it should come online after some time.
  2. If you get tired of waiting, release your instance and request a fresh installation. Please notice, all development work that hasn't been backup will be lost for good.
