Publicly usable forms

Hello Team,

We are working on a process that involves users in Service Now to send out forms to customers and have them submit information/data without having to login or authenticate.

Is this possible ?

Thanks,

Irfan

Hi @irfanshaik

I came around something I have tried.

Here are the steps:

1. Create a Service Portal: ServiceNow's Service Portal allows you to build a self-service experience for your users where they can access services, get information, and request help.

- Navigate to Service Portal > Portals.

- Click New to create a new portal.

- Fill in the necessary fields and click Submit.

2. Create a Public Survey: ServiceNow's Survey Management application allows you to create and send surveys to collect data from users. You can make these surveys public, meaning they can be accessed without requiring a login.

- Navigate to Survey > View Surveys.

- Click New to create a new survey.

- Fill in the necessary fields, making sure to set the "Requires Login" field to "No".

- Click Submit.

3. Share the Form/Survey: Once you've created your portal or survey, you can share the URL with your customers. They will be able to access and submit the form/survey without needing to authenticate.

Please note that while this method allows for easy data collection, it also opens up potential security risks as anyone with the URL can access and submit the form/survey. Make sure to consider these risks and implement necessary precautions when using this method.

Kindly mark helpful/Solution  🙂
