This scope is already taken by another application

After I clicked [Release Instance] to release my instance, I requested a new instance.

But I can't create any new Application in the new instance.

The error is:Unable to create this application. Go back to the create app experience and enter a different scope name. Details: Failed to create templated object, details: This scope is already taken by another application

Now the old instance has been released, I can't use sys_scope.list to clear old scope. And I have entered different combinations of names, but I am still getting the same error message. How to resolve the issue?

I believe there is an issue with your instance. Below article could help and option#4 is tried and tested method for a workaround especially for lab tasks

If possible, release the instance and get a new one and try again.

I tried release instance,  reset and wipe instance, over 5 times,doesn't work at all.😥

Submit a now learning support case and hopefully the team can help to resolve the issue

Typically they respond on same day and help with resolution.

@彦朱

the message clearly says this scope is already taken.

Search in sys_scope and see if it's already present, if yes then give different one for yours

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
