Unable to get Personal Developer Instance (PDI) - Stuck in Waitlist for 2 days

Hello Team,

I am new to ServiceNow and I requested a Personal Developer Instance (PDI). However, my request has been in "Waitlist" status for the past 2 days, and no instance has been assigned yet.

Could you please let me know if there is any way to cancel the current request and request a new instance, or advise how long I may need to wait for a PDI to become available?

Current status: "No instance is assigned yet - Waitlist"

Requested version: Yokohama

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't worry—this is quite common at the moment.

Over the past few days, many community members have reported delays when requesting a PDI. In some cases, the waiting period has been 6–7 days or even longer, especially for lower ServiceNow versions.

You can try requesting an instance on an earlier release, such as Zurich or an older version, but there may still be a waiting period due to high demand.

 

For now, patience is the best approach, as PDI availability depends on overall demand and ServiceNow's infrastructure capacity.

I will suggest you  to wait for the fulfillment as it seems your request has been added into the waitlist. Due to high demand, getting the absolute latest release can take longer.

If you are stuck requesting an instance, wait patiently. Pools of available instances periodically refresh.

 

As you know there is no support available for PDI.

 

Note: These days requesting New instance also getting delayed for fulfillment. Lots of concerns reported on the same in the community.
