Hi all,
During the RiseUp meetup I got the question what a ServiceNow architect is, and what it is they do? Is it a business role? Is it a technical role? The answer? YES!
A Technical Architect focuses on hands-on implementation, collaborating with developers to design and build solutions. A Platform Architect serves as a bridge between technical and business requirements, ensuring the platform aligns with organizational goals. Meanwhile, an Enterprise Architect focuses on strategic planning, aligning technology initiatives with the company's vision.
Each individual architect can have different skills and focus area. Simplified, the following Architect classes and their focus are depicted as follows:

As a ServiceNow architect, your journey is very diverse. You might find yourself conducting workshops for C-level executives one day, on stage at the Knowledge event on another day, and working with teams to build innovative applications the other. You may even participate in hackathons!
The best part? Becoming a ServiceNow architect is achievable for professionals from diverse backgrounds. Whether you come from business, consulting, or other non-IT fields, you have something valuable to contribute. ServiceNow offers training and certification programs to help you acquire the necessary skills, regardless of your prior experience.
