Just curious if it's possible at all to activate Process Optimization in my PDI.

Yes, it should be unless you are looking to install it on a PDI on any version before Vancouver.

It's a great feature for improving performance and efficiency in your data integration processes. Just head over to the settings or options menu, and you should find the option to enable it
