I am looking for a suggested solution to enable bi-directional update between servicenow defect record and jira bug record. I have enabled the jira spoke application and I can receive bug record updates from JIRA. However, my updates in ServiceNOW defect record does not go to JIRA. What do I need to do to resolve this?

hello @randytangco
For your requirement of enabling bi-directional updates between ServiceNow defect records and JIRA bug records, you might want to explore using Exalate. Exalate is a synchronization tool designed to facilitate issue tracking and project management across different platforms, including JIRA and ServiceNow. It allows for the configuration of customized synchronization rules, ensuring that updates in ServiceNow can be reflected in JIRA, and vice versa, maintaining consistency across both platforms.
By using Exalate, you can achieve a seamless, bi-directional synchronization between ServiceNow and JIRA, enhancing collaboration and efficiency across your teams.
