Anybody found the growing list of update sets in your environments a problem?
My client has been using ServiceNow for a very long time, and they are wondering if they could archive or simply delete really old update sets. We recommended against doing such a thing indicating the loss of auditability and the risk of not being able to trace why did what we did.
What would you do if you really had to get rid of the old update sets.

Hi ,
I'd recommend reviewing the following article from Nia on maintaining this sprawling update set issue in your lower environment as it may be contributing to your issue.
Why you should set your completed update sets to '... - ServiceNow Community
What is their justification for wanting to delete these in prod?

We clone Prod to Dev after the release, with a one-day change freeze in place. Otherwise, it will need to be handled as a manual activity.

Just the growing list seems to be their concern.
