CSDM Use Case Mapping

Hello Architects,

CSDM is clear until you need to apply it to a real use case. 

When it comes to decide which "entity" from the business you set as Business Application, Business Service/ Offering, Technical Service/ Offering, Application Service or even Application, it gets tricky. 

How wouod you map i.e. a Web Portal like Amazon with all the underlying components, including the portal itself, SSO etc.?

I forgot one key aspect - most business want to pull reports out of the CSDM model and have 360 overview of their products and services, plus they mostly want to enhance ITSM process, like i.e. know very quickly what causes an incident and who will fix it, what a change will impact or what the root cause for problems is.

This is very strong starting point when deciding how to build the model.
