Migration from customer on-premise instance to cloud (SaaS) instance

Hello everyone!

As a ServiceNow partner, we were asked if we can assist with a migration from a customer on-premise instance to cloud (SaaS) instance.

The current release is Utah release patch4 on-premise. The customer is aiming for Utah.

The current instance is quite customized in some areas and the customers is using ITSM, ITOM, IRM, CMDB and CSDM, and also HRSD, SecOps and a custom portal. So it already looks like a complicated situations. 

 

They are aiming to go back to OOTB as much as possible.

 

Does ServiceNow offer any official guidance in these cases? What are your thoughts on it?
