As part of our clients requirements we need to define an exit strategy - should we ever leave ServiceNow.
They are particularly interested in the CMDB and Asset database.
Is there any documentation or guide about leaving ServiceNow to go to another vendor?

Hi @johnrob18
You can check the Now Create under assets, and also involve your ServiceNow account manager in this discussion.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

I didn't find anything remotely helpful in Now Create for offboarding.

Once you create your HI ticket and select your EOL for ServiceNow, you'll be messaged with the details on how and when you can download your prod instance. there are a lot of rules and deadline dates on when you can get your data, it will be large and when we did it, we downloaded a large maria db file. They will send you instructions and credentials in your case to use sftp to download it (filezilla and cyberduck). you'll need a landing place for your archives. we backed up our cmdb and assets into large groups of CSV files, just in case.
Accessing your records once downloaded is not like opening a table in SN.
