Hi Expert ,
As per standard documents from serviceNow can see location as below
Where are the data centers located?
ServiceNow operates data centers in North America (Canada is the default location, with additional centers in the United States), South East Asia (South Korea and Singapore), Europe (Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Ireland), U.K. (England and Wales), Japan, Australia, Brazil, and India.
My question is as client
1) Do have choice to select which location I wish to select to store my Data ? Like in South East Asia it can be either South Korea or Singapore?
2) In China is there no presence for serviceNow considering China have strong data regulations , it might be difficult to host outside.

Hi Baharul1,
it is possible to select the location since each company has different data privacy rules and also serve different clients.
Thanks & Regards,
RK.

Once the instance is provisioned and before go live, you can request an instance to be moved via your account reps/solution consultant. There can be costs involved and this will be a long process where the instance will be restored in the target DC pair and then a replication is setup. On the start of change window the instance on the source DC will be shutdown. Wait till the replication to be caught up on the target DC pair and then the instance is made UP on the target DC. This is possible and this requires lead time and planning. Sales will be the first point of contact as there will be $involvement in this as well. Once this is approved via sales/account, please create a case to customer support with the approval and the Infra team will initiate the movement.
There will be a downtime ( upto an hour) so plan this in advance if it is a live instance.

Could you check the sys_cluster_state table for the physical server name ( DB/nodes)?
EG: app128039.mel201.service-now.com
*mel* ==> This should be the airport code of the data centre location in most cases
Or use the Catalogue below from NowSupport, which will list the instance's IP and the datacenter location. For the Production instance ( with High Availability enabled), the datacenters will be listed as a pair, with one being primary and the other standby.
