shared instance vs. dedicated instance

Hello community,

is there an overview / comparison of available plugins or modules in a servicenow shared instance and a dedicated instance?

I would need the same information for the interface topic. Can I use all integrations that are available in a dedicated instance in a shared instance?

Hi, you may need to clarify 'shared instance' as I don't believe that shared is a ServiceNow concept;

Do you mean on-premise verse cloud? or a Managed Service Provider type scenario?

For specific details of functionality and licensing for a ServiceNow instance I would recommend that you engage with ServiceNow Account management as they are the best team to assist\answer your questions and available functionality\plugins depends entirely on the product(s) you purchase.

If you are looking at a specific MSP solution then I would recommend engaging the MSP vendor directly,
as functionality available in any MSP solution is entirely dependent on the MSP involved.

Are your nomenclature is like below

Shared Instance ---> MSP/Domain Separated Instance

Dedicated Instance ---> Service Now Instance

Product list of any instance depends on what you procure and what all u have enabled which are free.

Integration is possible for any Service Now Instance . In your case can you elaborate more ur use cases?

We have a domain separated instance of ServiceNow.

We need to integrate with Sailpoint for one of the tenants. For that, we are required to install the Sailpoint plugin for Service Now.

Are there any limitations?

Is it even feasible to install and use this plugin from Sailpoint?

Kindly guide me to any reference docs or threads for this.
