It is failing for me. I tried with two instances. Both Rome. I think the latest one is just turned off a day earlier.

I also have not been able to restore my instance this week.

 

Edit: After trying around 10 times, I tried with an older copy 3 times and got it working.

Mark, I was keep restoring for 3-4 times, it failed initially but I got my instance back.

I am unable to restore my instance there is no option for me to restore only the option enabled is requesting for new instance, but all my work was saved in the old instance. Please can anyone help me out from this. How can i get back my old instance.

Same problem here. Unable to restore my Rome instance 😞

@Kamini Kansalare you guys actively working on this issue? I can request a new instance (I know some can't because of data loss etc.) - but the wait time for this would be much longer than a restore, so I'm a bit hesitant to do this.

 

UPDATE

After 4 retries and about 4 hours of waiting, I was finally able to restore my instance. It can be done, but seems there might still be some kinks to work out 🙂

It doesn't look like anyone from ServiceNow is looking at this thread. Best advice seems to be to just to keep on trying.

I had success restoring over a weekend. It could be that infrastructure is overloaded and restores are timing out due to some bug. But I’m just speculating and may be that I just got lucky...

Hi @Kamini Kansal , I encouter issues when I try to restore my PDI (multiple times). 

email : An attempt to restore your previous instance: dev108949 has failed. 

 

Is it general or just on my instance?

Hi Team,

I got mail stating that my instance will be inactive after the end of day Dec. 31, 2022 PST, I missed to login on or before dec 31, after that
I restored my instance and it stated restoration is in process. now when i try to login it does not show the restore option instead it shows 'request an instance'.
I need to restore my PDI because it's my 5 years instance and my hard work saved one.
I need your help to restore all my customization back. I Appreciate your help.

I had an instance for 5+ years get reclaimed this past week on Friday, only received one notification at 1AM Friday morning... gone at the end of the day!  Please give us more time!
