AI Agent's usage from external systems (GCP Vertex) is not reflecting in the PA reports in AICT

Hello,

 

I have been working with AI Control Tower and have successfully established a connection between ServiceNow and GCP Vertex AI. AICT is able to discover AI assets from GCP and also retrieve usage details. The usage data is being populated in the sn_ai_disc_ai_usage table.

 

My expectation is that this data should be consumed by the PA indicators and reflected in the reports under AI Control Tower > AI Value. However, I do not see this happening. I would like to understand why the AI Value reports are not being populated and whether there are any additional steps required to enable this functionality.

 

Below is my analysis so far:

  • I checked the [AI Discovery] Daily Data Collection job. Based on the logs, I can confirm that it is running successfully and fetching usage details from the AI Agent Usage table.

  • I checked the PA indicator job AIValue.ValueDashboard.DailyJob and confirmed that it is running daily. However, the logs indicate that it is retrieving data from the sn_value_calculated_data_v2 table.

  • When I check the sn_value_calculated_data_v2 table, I can see that the GCP agents are present, but the Usage and Value fields are both showing 0. I suspect this is the reason the AICT reports are not displaying any data.

If my assumption is correct, I would like to understand:

  1. How is the sn_value_calculated_data_v2 table populated?

  2. Why are the Usage and Value fields showing 0 when the sn_ai_disc_ai_usage table contains valid invocation data?

  3. Are there any additional configurations, jobs, or prerequisites that I should verify?

 

Please let me know if there is anything else I should check.

 

Note: My instance is on Zurich version and AI Agents are being governed and deployed.
