Hello community,
I am working on assessing the requirement to migrate SICT Legacy to 2.0 for a client. I went through the ServiceNow document but still need some clarity on below points:
1. Is the SICT legacy getting deprecated? If yes, then by when?
2. Major differences between both.
3. The required plugins that are required to migrate. I am aware about - AI Native Experience for Super Intelligence Control Tower (sn_aict_ainpx_now) but is it sufficient to achieve the 2.0 experience or we need any other plugin?
Thanks in advance,
Mehakdeep Singh

From what I understand, the main difference is that SICT 2.0 is more than just a refreshed interface. It brings a more streamlined AI Control Tower experience with additional governance and monitoring capabilities.
Here's how I would compare the two:
Legacy SICT focuses on AI asset inventory, risk assessment, governance, and lifecycle management.
SICT 2.0 builds on that with improved navigation, AI-powered recommendations, and better visibility into AI assets and their performance.
If you're planning to move to SICT 2.0, I'd recommend checking a few things first:
Check your current AI Control Tower version.
Verify the dependencies required for sn_aict_ainpx_now.
Review the migration instructions in KB3144679.
Test the new experience in a sub-production instance.
Confirm that your existing AI assets, roles, and governance configurations are intact.
One thing worth keeping in mind is that installing the new plugin doesn't necessarily complete the migration. Make sure you follow the documented migration process before replacing your existing workspace.
I'd suggest validating the new experience first rather than switching over directly.
