ACL Issue on Child Table for Parent Field Access

Hi ServiceNow Community,

We’re currently working on implementing an ACL on a child table, specifically targeting a field from the parent table. However, we’re facing an issue where the parent field is not accessible while writing the ACL.

Has anyone encountered this before or have suggestions on how to properly reference the parent field in the ACL on the child table?

Looking forward to your support and insights.

Best regards,

if there is a field level READ/WRITE ACL from parent and you want to override the logic then you need to create a new field level READ/WRITE ACL on your child table

see this execution
