add a global script includes to the update set of my scoped app

Is there any way I can bring a global script includes into the update set of my scoped app? I have a gloabl script includes which I need to send out with my application but it is not coming as the part of the update set even if i use the "Add to Update Set" utility. Please tell me if someone can help.

If you have a batched update set with both the global script include and the scoped app then you can send it together.

If you are planning to put your application (custom scoped app) to store and then customer will download it using subscription then it's not possible to push global script include into your update set

You can always supply separate update sets from other scopes as parent and then share with customer and they can commit it

I also worked on similar requirement so I would recommend add it in a Global application, update set and deploy that separately before installing the scoped app.

Also if it's intended to be shared across multiple apps, keep it in Global and document it as a prerequisite dependency.

No, you can't do this through a scoped application's update set.

A Global Script Include belongs to the Global scope, so it isn't considered part of your scoped application. Because of that, the add to update set  option won't reliably include it.

best practice : create new update set in Global application , make the changes from the Global scope into script include and save  then make sure capture them in a Global update set.

You can then deploy the scoped application along with that Global update set.
