I am reaching out to seek your valuable insights and expertise regarding an issue we are currently facing with our CMDB Data Policy in ServiceNow.
Background: We are in the process of enhancing our CMDB Data Management by updating certain attributes within the PC Hardware table. Specifically, we need to modify the following attributes:
- Install Status
- Operation Status
- Hardware Status
- Substatus
The Challenge: Our initial attempts to update these attributes have yielded mixed results. We have successfully updated the "Install Status" and "Operation Status" attributes without any issues. However, we are encountering difficulties when attempting to modify the "Hardware Status" and "Substatus" attributes. These two attributes seem to be resisting our efforts, and we are not entirely sure why.
