hi @chintuchairmen

Create an onBefore Business Rule:

  • Table: Server [cmdb_ci_server] or Windows Server [cmdb_ci_win_server] depending on your scope

  • When: before Insert and Update

  • Condition: Model.Name [contains] virtual AND Chassis type [is] Desktop

  • Script:

    (function executeRule(current, previous /*null when async*/) {
        current.setValue('chassis_type', 'Server');
    })(current, previous);

Hi @chintuchairmen , can you give more info about for your config in manual reconcile rule?.?

Hi @annb19, i created reconcilation rule for manual entry , thinking that server owner could manually update and it wont again override by sccm , the manual CI update is not being captured as an IRE data-source update; therefore, the reconciliation rule cannot be used to retain the manual value as the source of truth

@annb19  this manual entry reconcilation rule.
