CMDB dashboard - correctness score

Hi Experts,

We are encountering an unusual behavior in the CMDB dashboard - correctness score.

Issue: There are 916 ci's available in the u_database_instance_uk class. Out of 916, 769 ci's are showing as orphan (which means that they dont have record in the cmdb_rel_ci table). When checked, it is found that out of those 769 orphan ci's 137 are having the relationship records in the cmdb_rel_ci table.

I would like to know, if 137 ci's have relationship in the cmdb_rel_ci table then why they are showing up as orphan in the CMDB dashboard - correctness score card.

Orphan Rule:

It's been 3 months and we are still unable to find the root cause.

Hence, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,

If you look at things from the DB CI, do you see a relationship to the host? If so, what type is it?

Hi Kevin,

Orphan results for relationships are computed if they don't satisfy the given relationship condition. Can you check the description of the result, it should indicate why the failure is created.
