CMDB Data Management Policy Executions records disappearing

I have a requirement to build a dashboard to display data policy executions in a list. I was able to set a filter to display data policy executions that pertained to a semi annual vendor certification policy but the executions seemed to have disappeared. There must be some scheduled job that's deleting them but i cannot find them. Can someone help point me to the scheduled job or rule that's deleting these?

We found that there is an auto flush that is set to flush out files from the cmdb_data_management_policy_execution table after 7 days. I'm trying to understand why this is there and what the ramifications are if we set this auto flush record to inactive. Any thoughts?
