CMDB query builder to show apps installed on server

Hi,

How to query servers having applications installed on them

1)is it mandatory to have them in cmdb_rel_ci table already ? as pre requisite?

2)ALso in CMDB query builder whenever i try to add relationship, it gives me only one choice= DUplicate of , nothing else so I cant select 'Any relationship Type'

 tried with Applications class and windows server

Can anyone help

actually that worked when i selected Non-CMDB table and wanted to show relation with CMDB table
