Questions on CMDB Workspace development

Hi Experts, 

I'm doing development on CMDB workspace, anyone can tell how to do below?

1. in CMDB Workspace > CI Overview > click into Class e.g. 'Mobile Device', how to configure the default Column view under UI Builder or located in somewhere?

2. Click into CI > Details, how to configure all attributes to align with default view instead of CMDB - Workspace view under UI Builder or located in somewhere?

3. CMDB Workspace Home > Use conditional search instead > choose Class, how to sort out specific items instead of show up the entire list?

1 - Go to the table - sn_cmdb_ws_group_query_metadata - find the class you want to change and make changes to the related list.

2 - Go to the CI record and change the view to CMDB - Workspace view and make your changes there.

3 - The list shows choices based on your access.

Hi, 

1. Am I get into the correct table? can't found the place to edit the column view for CMDB workspace > CI Overview > click into Class e.g. 'Mobile Device'

2. possible to replicate the default view and used for CMDB Workspace instead of change the attributes one by one?

3. It seems control in UI builder but cannot find a way to control the access

1 - you're on the table. Put the tablename - sn_cmdb_ws_group_query_metadata - in the navigation and add .list and press enter. That will take you to the entries on the table. Find mobile and open. If it doesn't exist, you may have to create one.

2 - it's not advisable.

3 - because the variant is read-only, you'd have to copy the variant, adjust the order and maybe audience and then add a nerw data resource or modify the baseline one.

Just want to add more screenshoots and clarification. If you want change set of columns here - 

1. go to the 'sn_cmdb_ws_group_query_metadata' table

2. open record with class 'cmdb_ci_computer'

3. switch to Workspace view

Now you can change columns here
