Forgive me as my knowledge of VM administration is limited.
We are looking for the best way to associate user records with their allotted VM Pool / Type to use in an operational scenario. In other words, we'd like the Service Desk to know immediately if a user is on a VDI, and if so, what their level of permission and available applications are. We are using Azure Virtual Desktop, and there are plenty of OOTB integrations with Azure, but I am not sure how to structure this, or what best practice might look like in this scenario.
At a glance, there are some OOTB Azure classes, and quite a few OOTB classes related to VMs and virtual desktops, but I worry that most of them are more aligned with infrastructure and less focused on end-user.
Any insight is appreciated.
