Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to track and close the failures of Data certification. Whenever any CI field value is failed in data certification customer requires a task to be created for the CI for the failed attributes/fields.
Follow on task is available OOTB for desired state audit. Please help us to understand can we use Follow-on Task for data certification failed certified CIs or not. If yes then How we can do that. If no, then what should be the automated method we can use to track the failures to closure.
Regards,
Shalabh

Hi Shalabh,
I would say, you are on the right track. In case you already created a data audit, you can select within the data audit, if a task should be created. Now we have one OOTB property, which always creates a new tasks for an audit failure. This makes it difficult to have a SLA to measure, how long it take. So in my understanding you need to do the following steps:
1. Create a data audit with the CI Class manager and activate the task creation
2. Change property "glide.allow.new.cert_follow_on_task", that you only have one task per failure
3. Define a process for task closure + ownership and responsibility
4. Define a SLA
Hope that helps.
